Class Info-WTF


All studio public classes are taught by our accredited and experienced teaching staff. Our teachers constantly upgrade their knowledge to enhance their understanding of yoga and the quality of each of the classes they teach. As our teachers regularly attend our scheduled classes, they are able to answer questions about any of the class types at any time.

**Students who have particular conditions or injuries are recommend to consult a health care practitioner and inform our teaching staff of your condition prior to participating in classes at the studio.

Types of Classes

1.0

The1.0 classes focus on the basics in structural alignment. Students are taken through the details of the introductory pose dynamics and breathing methodology.
**Suitable for total beginners to Yoga and experienced yogis from other systems alike.

2.0

The 2.0 classes continue to focus on structural alignment fundamentals with added poses to the sequences. Students are taken through details of pose dynamics and breathing while moving toward smoother transitions between poses.

3.0

The 3.0 classes at the intermediate level. Students are led through more complex sequencing with less details in instruction at an increased momentum.
**Students new to yogajaya are required to take 1.0 and 2.0 level.

4.0

The 4.0 classes at the intermediate/ experienced level. Students are led through complex sequences with advanced pose variations with fewer verbal details. Students are occasionally supported with deeper hands-on adjusting from the instructor.

Vinyasa

Dynamic and energetic sequencing with increased focus on linking the breath with movement.

All Class Levels

Basic

These classes are designed at a pace for those new to yoga. More experienced students will also benefit from the foundational principles introduced.

**Variations are offered to address particular body types and conditions.

Basic/Intermediate

These classes continue to focus on the foundations with additional postures and variations. Beginner, intermediate and experienced students are welcome to join!

**Suitable for those who have some basic yoga experience.

Intermediate

At the intermediate level, students will expand on strength, stamina and flexibility in more challenging class dynamics.These sessions are generally recommended for those who have had more than half a year of regular yoga practice and or who are being mentored to progress at a pace determined by the YogaJaya studio residential teachers.

**Students new to YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga are required to take YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga 1.0 and 2.0 level classes before attending any YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga 3.0 classes. This is regardless of any students level of experience with other yoga systems. Students are carefully guided and supported throughout the entire process.

**Variations may or may not be offered. For those working with injuries or other conditions, it is recommended to practice at a level of safety relevant to your condition and or attend our “YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga” classes to learn more about how to promote better awareness and safety in practice.

Experienced

These classes explore the deeper aspects of yoga based on accumulated practice experience.These sessions are generally recommended for those who have had more than a year of regular yoga practice and or who are being mentored to progress at a pace determined by the YogaJaya studio residential teachers.

**Students new to YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga are required to take regular YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 level classes before attending any YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga 4.0 classes. This is regardless of any students level of experience with other yoga systems. The YogaJaya studio residential teachers will determine through the observation of a students progress whether they can begin YogaJaya Baseworks Yoga 4.0 classes. Students are carefully guided and supported throughout the entire process.
