This workshop focuses on opening the shoulders, chest, heart and ultimately opening oneself. We will explore our willingness to be aware of all parts of ourselves- the light and the dark, and to look at the full spectrum of emotions, sensations and thoughts that arise as our true selves begin to be revealed.

We will look at the possibility of staying in the flow and to look at everything that arises with fresh eyes, openness and freedom.

Within this workshop we will explore the breath, meditation and asanas (both Yin and Yang) that help open ourselves to the present moment without clinging or pushing.

Our goal is to accept ourselves and our reality as we are and respond with love and truth.

Both Modules will include:

  • Pranayama- Breath expansion and awareness
  • Dhyana- Meditating on openness and freedom
  • Asanas
  • Q/A

This workshop is open to all level students.

Module 1: Heart Openers

In this Module, we will focus on openers- shoulder, chest and heart to cultivate an energy of openness and expansion of the physical body- namely the heart.

Module 2: Heart Flow

October 17th 08:00-10:30

In this Module, the focus will be on opening not only the physical body, but the mind and spirit as well. This will be done with some self-inquiry during the Heart Flow practice, and looking to stay in this Flow through the entire practice.
