You can easily join these meetings by clicking on the ZOOM link provided in the consultation call confirmation email at the scheduled time.
Once you click the link the zoom in the meeting confirmation, the app should automatically download and ask you to either “Join a Meeting” or “Login”.
You can also copy paste the link into any browser and view from a browser without downloading the app as well. (explained in the Desktop Set-Up below the mobile set-up.)
We actually recommend downloading the APP and getting familiar with the interface as it can save time on the meeting day. You can download the zoom mobile app in advance for iOS or Android, or desktop for Windows and Mac OS.
If you have the app installed, all you need to do is to click on the link sent in the call conformation email, and the app should automatically open. You can then simply join the meeting by entering the meeting ID and your name.
The meeting ID is the 9 or 10 digit number at the end of the link above. For example if the link is: https://zoom.com/j/123456789, the meeting ID will be 123456789.
You can also create an account free of charge with ZOOM. If you have an account created, make sure to login to your APP first, then click on the zoom meeting link to join the call at the designated time and day and you will be prompted to join the meeting.
Below are some tips on how to get started with the zoom APP for mobile, tablet and desktop.
(although we have only provided instructions here for iOS and Mac OS, Android and Windows are comparable in the set-up)
Find the app icon on your phone and click to open.
4. JOIN MEETING
At the designated time of the call, click on Join a Meeting.
5. meeting id and name
Add the meeting id (from the zoom link in the meeting confirmation email) and add your name, then click Join.
6. SETTINGS: AUDIO
You will get prompted to ALLOW the zoom App to access your microphone.
7. SETTINGS: permissions
You may get prompted to go into your phone settings to give permission to the ZOOM APP to access your microphone and camera. (see next images below)

Go to your phone privacy settings.
9. Permissions: MICROPHONE AND CAMERA
Find the microphone and camera toggles.
10. Permissions: Camera
Make sure toggle is set to on for camera.

12. CONTROLS
In order to see the APP controls, tap your screen. Then tap on both the microphone and camera icons to activate your microphone and camera for the call. You can always turn these off if you need to by tapping the screen again.

Desktop APP Set-UP
1. Meeting Link/ID
Find the meeting link from your confirmation email. (the 9 or 10 digit number at the end of the link is your meeting ID)
2. Add Link to browser
Copy paste the link into your browser.
3. INSTALL ZOOM APP
By default, the app will download. It will either start installing or look for the install file in your downloads folder and open it to install the app.
4. INstallation Permission
You will be asked to allow for the zoom app to install. Click continue.
5. OPEN APP
Once the app has installed, look for it in your applications folder and open the app. You will be given the choice to create an account and after sign in, and or an alternate choice to join a meeting without creating an account.
If you choose not to create an account, after you choose join a meeting, you will be prompted to add your meeting ID and name to join the meeting at the scheduled time.
If you choose not to create an account, go to step 8 to see how to set up the app.
If you chose not to create an account go to step 8 below.
6. JOIN MEETING WITH AN ACCOUNT
If you have created an account, and signed in click on the home icon to visit the app home screen.
7. JOin Meeting
At the scheduled time and day of your meeting, Click Join from your home screen, then enter your meeting ID. (the 9 or 10 digit number in the meeting link you received in your contact email). Then click Join.
8. APP SEETINGS
You will need to set up your camera and microphone for the call.
9. Microphone Settings
Click the arrow next to the microphone icon to choose the microphone source for your call. You will see the possible choices listed in the dialog.
10. Camera Settings
Click the arrow next to the camera icon to choose the camera source for your call. You will see the possible choices listed in the dialog.
11. ENABLE AUDIO& CAMERA
Click on both the microphone and camera icons to enable the audio and camera for the call. Once enabled, they will show all white like this. If not enabled, you will see a red line through the icons.
12. Chat
If you are having troubles, you can chat with the host at anytime by clicking on the chat icon.
DESKTOP BROWSER Set-UP
1. Add Link to browser
Copy paste the link into your browser.
2. JOIN FROM BROWSER
By default, the app will download. Although we really recommend downloading the APP for better call stability, if you do not want to install the app, you can choose to join from your browser. Click Join from your browser.
3. ENTER YOUR NAME
Enter the your name you registered for the call with. Then click Join.
4. Enable Microphone
The browser will ask permission to use your microphone. Click OK.
5. enable camera
The browser will ask permission to use your camera. Click OK.
6. JOIN CALL
Allow browser to join with computer audio and make sure to select both the Join Audio and Start Video options.
