Joanne’s love for movement began as a 4 year old with ballet. She has gone on to carve out a career in dance and has been dancing professionally for the last 12 years. During this time she spent several years with the Hamburg Ballet Company and has danced with various companies in Australia. For the last 5 years she has predominantly worked with Melbourne based company, Balletlab. Since 1998 Joanne has also been teaching pilates. Through this work, her interest and knowledge in the anatomy of the body in movement has blossomed. She is a keen yoga enthusiast and feels very passionate about drawing on her life experiences to help people find a more integrated, ideokinetic way of moving and being.
