Originally from Oita Japan, Keizo began his study of Sivananda yoga in Chicago, where he has spent the last nine years. He did intensive asana, pranayama, and philosophy study at the Sivananda Vedanta center of Chicago.

He later went on to complete his teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Upstate NY. Keizo teaches according to the Sivananda tradition incorporating and linking breath asana and meditation.

Keizo recently returned to Japan to re-connect with his roots and pursue life in his home country with a new outlook gained from his accumulated experience living abroad.

Keizo also pursues interests in outdoor trekking, international travel, and photography.
