Mark has dedicated himself to yoga since 1997. He has studied with Sri K Pattahbi Jois of Mysore, India, since 1999 and has completed a 5 year apprenticeship with Eileen Hall of Sydney, Australias’; Ashtanga Yoga Moves. He has also studied extensively with his mentors Clive Sheridan and Simon Borg-Olivier. Mark recently completed the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) teacher training in Mysore and is authorized to teach the Intermediate series of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. He is an Advanced student of Guruji and R.Sharath.

Mark’s workshops are beneficial to those looking to build strength and stability, to learn how to prevent and heal back, knee and shoulder injuries as well as learn to practice with grace and ease. Now an established international yoga teacher (Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, USA, Costa Rica, Bali, Sri Lanka, India), Mark wishes to share the teachings of yoga in a way that inspires people to develop a love for the practice so that their inner light can shine. For the last 5 years he has been taking time out from full-time teaching and going deeper into his own yoga studies and his passion and love for surfing, music and travel.
