Tomomi Yoshikawa

Since 2000 Tomomi pursued a professional music career. Uninspired by the politics of the music world in Japan, she decided to leave her agency in 2007.

Around this same time, she began to dedicate more time to her yoga practice leading her to deeper realizations of the powerful benefits.

After some time, she was introduced to YogaJaya. Inspired by YogaJaya Director, Patrick Oancia, she attended and completed the YogaJaya International Teacher Training in 2009.

The more Tomomi practiced, the gap between the connection of her experience on the mat and her daily life started to close more and more, and her interest in yoga deepened immensely.

Tomomi continues to experience the connection between the body, mind, and life through yoga, as it constantly offers new ways of perceiving things.

Tomomi is a YogaJaya Accredited Teacher (YJAT) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance.

BASEWORKS Certified Instructor BT2 / YJA300 / ERYT200
