This course puts emphasis on watching the changes occurring in the body through yoga practices. Students will understand in more detail the profound depth that yoga has and the way it can affect the condition of the mind. When the mind and body are transformed, the true self becomes apparent. This is a continuation of the first Transformation workshop where the emphasis was on the physical transformation.

All sessions will include:
Pranayama, Meditation, Core strengthening asanas, self-inquiry.
Each session will link with to the previous session in order to reach the depth of the content.

This is an all-level course. Upon completion, beginner students will be ready to attend YogaJaya level 1 to 3 led public classes.

YOGA AND THE EMOTIONAL SELF
Moving into the second layer, the layer beneath the physical layer; unblocking feeling, emotion, defensiveness.

*WEEK 1 : MODULE 1
Saturday, July 15. 15:00-17:00

1.SEQUENCE OF OPENING POSTURES:
Unlocking long-held emotions, slowly opening the joints, muscle groups, organs, tissues where emotional tensions/memories may be stored. Unblocking emotional blocks, tightness, pain, lack of flexibility, tensions, knots in body areas -especially hips, lower back, buttocks, back of legs, groin, hara and neck area. Opening the chakras.

*WEEK 2 : MODULE 2
Saturday, July 22. 15:00-17:00

2.INTENSITY: HOLDING THE POSTURES
Finding the postures that open areas of tension and blockages, and invoking emotional sensations, and working through the intensity by holding the posture at one's edge. Releasing the energy through the chakras.

*WEEK 3 : MODULE 3
Saturday, July 29. 15:00-17:00

3.RESTORATIVE / SUPPORTIVE SEQUENCES:
Integrating the new awareness/sensations/emotions -new levels of discomfort, new edge of self-emotion-awareness experiences, through restorative, supportive, nurturing poses. Allowing body to integrate at the deeper level of emotions that may have been touched or mobilized. Balancing the charkas.
