
Iva Drtina-Hall : TRANSFORMATION PART III YOGA AND THE MIND
Transforming negative mental states: anxiety, stress,depression and negative thoughts and attitudes by building awareness and bringing about a sense of well being through pranayama (breath awareness), meditation and asanas.
This workshop is divided into 3 modules over 3 weekends.
May 12, 19, 26 . 2 hours each module. Total: 6 hours.
This is an all-level course. Upon completion, beginner students will be ready to attend YogaJaya level 1 to 3 led public classes.

2.Consequences/ Results of negative mental states and their transformation into joy, gratitude, happiness and compassion
i anxiety,panic attacks

iv loneliness, isolation

3.Stress Reduction
i identify stressors-food situations, people,places, activities
ii techniques of stress relief: breath, meditation,visualization,poses-Qi kong, asanas
