This immersion will consist of working with uddiyana kriya, uddiyana bandha, pranayama rhythms including kapalabhati, bastrika, nadi shodhana, bhramari, anuloma viloma. We will also work with breath retentions, exploring the use of mudras.
Patrick Oancia has been practicing pranayama since the 1990s. He has had many teachers along the way, but has been greatly influenced by information that has been presented through the hatha yoga pradipika, later being reinterpreted by the Bihar School of Yoga. His inspiration is to make the study and practice of pranayama digestible and easy for students at any level of experience.
A deeper understanding of the benefits of yoga comes from a regular daily practice. The particular quality of morning practice can tone and prepare our bodies and mind for the course of each and everyday.
This immersion will be divided in to 2 parts:
1.Pranayama (breathing practices) and guided meditation utilizing effective techniques in and easy-to-understand way.
2. An entire body hatha yoga practice with relaxation.
