Roberto Milletti began his journey into the world of Yoga, martial arts and Zen at age 13 and for more than 20 years has been a leader in Yoga teaching aimed at reforming yoga with his “contemporary vision”.
His search for the essence of Yoga has brought him to the East countless times as he has studied the deeper meaning of his chosen path.
Being ahead of the times led him to teach the 1st Marines Security Guard Detachment at the U.S. Embassy in Italy. His influence in Yoga and martial arts has given new meaning to the guards’ training.
His belief in the stillness of the mind and readiness for action are his trademark of unity of body and mind, both on-and-off the mat.
Roberto is the founder and director of “Odaka Yoga Contemporaneo” schools in Europe, and the United States.
He has been involved with leading Institutes at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, the Pre-natal Clinic of Mater Dei and Paideia in Rome, the Yoga Festival in Europe, the FIS Italian Fencing Federation, and the CONI – CSEN Italian Sports Organization.
Roberto delivers his contemporary message and methodology through retreats and teacher trainings, conferences and festivals all around the world.
Roberto is an official Ambassador of the World Yoga and Ayurveda Movement and he regularly writes commentary for the Italian Yoga Journal.
Roberto Milletti’s vision is reflected in his openness to multiple Yoga realities and his aim of helping to build a common ground and sharing place for Yoga exchange and networking.
