In 1998, Cameron met a clairvoyant in Glasgow, Scotland, who had pinpointed details of his life 12,000 miles away in New Zealand. Cameron was fascinated by this stranger’s insight and he started to inquire more into the spiritual realm. The clairvoyant gave Cameron a book about meditation and this set the direction for Cameron’s coming years.
Cameron began studying yoga in 1999 with Gwendoline Hunt in New Zealand. At that time Gwendoline was 69 years old and performing handstands and backbends with all the grace of a cat. She was a true inspiration.

The same time, he attended his first of many 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats. Shortly after this, he met Chris-Tian RA, a channeller and healer whose companionship and friendship continues to inspire and support Cameron’s inquiry.

Cameron’s study of yoga and meditation has encouraged countless insights into the play of spiritual energies in his daily life. For him, life has become a fascinating process of self-realization.
Cameron first came to Tokyo as a high school English teacher with a passion for electronic music. Tokyo’s club/music scene was a paradise to Cameron, and he was greatly inspired by the vibrant connectivity!
His recent interests in Tokyo have moved more to learning and sharing yoga. It would not however be unlikely to spot him in record shops or on Tokyo dance floors!
Cameron practices and teaches the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of yoga asana as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India.
Cameron has completed the IYC teacher training in Tokyo, and Nancy Gilgoff’s Ashtanga teacher’s adjustment clinic. He also studied with teachers including John Scott and Petri Raisanen.
