CLASS DESCRIPTION

ELEMENTS classes continue to focus on structural alignment fundamentals. Students are taken through details of pose dynamics and breathing while moving toward smoother transitions between poses.

Class Objectives:

  • Continue working on posture dynamics & muscle-coactivation patterns
  • Continue building prerequisites (strength, flexibility, body awareness, concentration) with a special focus on upper-body and abdominal work
  • Developing strength and starting work with gravity by beginning to approach free balancing inversions

**Suitable for those who have some basic yoga experience and those experienced in other movement systems.
