The first stages of the BASEWORKS PRACTICE focus on developing natural breathing in coordination with functional movement. Students will learn how to to used refined breathing and move the body consciously so to establish solid foundations to progress from.
October 25, 13:30-15:00 - BASEWORKS TECH
This session will explore technique in functional movement in relation to building the foundation that is needed to practice safely and effectively. Students will experience different types of very fun exercises that can be used as tools to prime different aspects of BASEWORKS.

It is said that when the body and mind achieve equanimity that the feet, legs, pelvis, torso, arms, hands, neck, throat andhead are perfectly balanced. As an entry way into to Patrick Oancia’s 2 sessions, Satoko Horie will first outline the approach to building core stability utilizing muscles that stabilize the spine, abdominal region and pelvis so as to enhance an understanding of body mechanics. This will be followed by a BASEWORKS Practice 2.0 Sequence.

Students work together with teachers to explore the curriculum, clarify its applications, and to cultivate clear communications and connectivity from start to finish.
