This workshop aims to present the full scope of Hatha Yoga, as described in the ancient texts, laying the foundations with cleansing practices (kriyas) and postures (asana), and deepening the experience by introducing breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana). The material will culminate to form a complete practice, which may be varied according to individual needs and circumstances, to bring about profound transformation.
Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a Yin Yoga practice. In this form of Hatha Yoga, the ancient teachings of India are integrated with the specific subtle body anatomy of the Chinese Meridian Theory. The aim is to actively nourish and harmonize the movement and distribution of chi (life force or prana) and alleviate ill health by eliciting the body’s natural healing response. It is a synthesis of eastern knowledge that aims at directly affecting the connective tissue (fascia, joints and ligaments) in the body, so that the health of the associated organs is improved.
Turn yourself upside down and you turn around the aging process. There is no doubt that inverting the body is one of the most powerful mechanisms within Yoga; stand on your head and the breath becomes subtle, the body, warm and soft, the mind, clear and quiet... and all grey hairs disappear within six months!

The voice is one of many mediums which we can use to harness a greater awareness and deeper understanding of ourselves. Our voice closely mirrors our state of being, and our mind frame will also affect the quality, strength and flexibility of our voice. By using the voice correctly, we can release emotions such as frustration, fear and anger. Resonating our voices together has been proven to have amazing healing qualities for stress, speech disorders and depression.
